About Us
Scott and Lisa Jeter
By bringing together strategy, vision, technology, a love for business and a passion for the community, Jeterbuilt Construction was born.
Scott Jeter has loved electrical work and building with his hands since he received his first electricity kit from his parents at age nine. He also had a natural entrepreneurial spirit since childhood, selling candy bars at school and ornaments to his neighbors, and even installing stereos.
A Redding native and Shasta High School graduate, Scott has been a professional in the electrical trade for over 20 years and in general construction for 15 years. Scott served in the US Air Force for four years as an electrician on the U2 spy plane. He also worked as a laser engineer, performing maintenance and working in Research and Development. He received his Project Management degree (BSIS) from the University of San Francisco.
Since Scott’s innate ability to make money and put smiles on people’s faces started early on, Jeterbuilt Construction was a natural unfolding. After he relocated back to Redding in October 2005, Jeterbuilt Construction, Inc. was established a C10 license. In 2006, Scott Jeter obtained a General Class B license. Jeterbuilt Construction performs a wide variety of construction work, but our primary focus is on electrical work, handyman services, small home remodels, and speciality projects like wood fences, and interior/exterior door installations and repairs.
Scott’s wife, Lisa, is the co-owner and also a veteran of the United States Air Force. She is a Northstate native from Burney, CA and met Scott while in the USAF. In her previous life, Lisa was a computer engineer and program manager at Hewlett Packard for nine years. Lisa also has her Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management (BSIS) with an emphasis in technology/eBusiness from the University of San Francisco. Lisa has been fully involved in all the financials, strategy, technology planning and daily operations for Jeterbuilt since 2006. She now also oversees the office/field staff scheduling, on-going process/procedures and marketing.
